Ambika is a Mehdipatnam ,Hyderabad-based disabled single mother. Living with her sister family, she is aware of the tailoring industry. She decided to launch her tailoring business because she wanted to be an independent woman. She is talented in both crafts and tailoring. She requested a sewing machine.
She was located during mobilization and put on the PURE India support shortlist. We gave her a sewing machine and a wheelchair since the government hasn’t given her one in the previous eight or nine years. She currently makes Rs 7000 a month from her business and finds it easy to commute throughout the neighborhood for her daily tasks.
