Mamta Devi is a woman with physical disabilities (legs). She is an extremely brave and diligent woman. She assists her husband with farming work and handles all domestic tasks on her own. Her family’s financial situation is not excellent. Her spouse is a farmer and also has a disability. The family of Mamta makes only 5,000 to 6,000 every month.
During our mobilization, we met Mamta Devi and learned about her family’s situation. She is now earning money for her family after we assisted her in opening a grocery store. She is now capable of looking after her child and her relatives. She aspires to provide her kids a better education and live her life respectfully. Her spouse is also helping her during her day to day business.
