Neha is a 17-year-old girl and she stopped going to school after 8th class and was not doing anything after 2015. Her mother is a housewife and father works as a private school teacher. We encouraged Neha to continue her studies and also learn some skills which can help her earn living for life. She joined our first batch of Tailoring classes. She also showed interest to become a fashion designer now and also ready to apply for the 10th grade exam from open school. She learned to cut, stitching very quickly and now she can stitch various ladies clothes.
Originally, she is from a village near Patna, Bihar and has 5 family members. Her parents are very happy that she will now continue her studies and also learning skills for life. Neha also learned bag stitching after completing basic tailoring classes and has been stitching different types of bags.
“My parents are very happy it was sad that i had to left school in 2015 due to financial issues but now NGO team has encouraged me to continue studies and apply for 10th grade exam from open school.
After joining PURE India i am very happy and i started learning Dress Making skills as well considring it will help me establish as a designer in future”- Neha
