Sanja Bairava: An inspiring Girl completing B Ed. Course in 2019
- Sanja Bairava is a daughter of a very poor “Silicosis” patient from Kosara village in Karauli district of Rajasthan. Village is known as “Village of Widows” due to most of the people work in stone mines and they get infected by Silicosis disease and they die at the age around 40 years.
- The village didn’t had anyone graduate though the district HQ was just 4-5 KM from the village. At the same time hardly any girl was allowed to go to school after 5th class but we found Sanja Kumar as only girl who passed 10th class in 2014. We started supporting her education and convince her parents to allow her to study further. Later we also provided her computer trainings and coaching classes for competitive exams.. Now she is doing BEd degree and preparing for a Govt job.
- She has inspired many of the girls from the village and now parents have allowed their daughter’s to go to school event in district school.
