Our Jaipur-based group livelihood program is committed to empowering women artisans and advancing their economic independence. At the heart of this initiative is Nirjhari Craft, a women-led Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) that operates on a Hub & Spoke model, with multiple sub-centers across Rajasthan. These centers are structured to tap into the unique talents of local artisans, enabling them to efficiently handle large-scale orders.
The artisans produce a diverse array of handicrafts, which we market through various channels, including exhibitions, ONDC, Amazon, NirjhariCraft, and Etsy. The primary goal is to create a sustainable marketplace that guarantees fair compensation for artisans, promoting consistent income and financial stability.
Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, this fully women-owned cooperative strengthens rural women’s confidence in business management and leadership. Members actively participate in every stage of business development, from procurement and production to sales, order fulfillment, and resource management. By fostering teamwork and collaboration, this program not only enhances livelihoods but also builds resilient community bonds.
