Guddi, from Phusapura Bari, Dholpur, was once dependent on her husband’s small street cart income and her own sewing work to support their family. Despite their efforts, it was hard to meet even basic needs. Things changed when Guddi received support from SIDBI Swavalamban Foundation and PURE India Trust.
With the support, she started her own flour mill and now earns a monthly profit of ₹2,000–₹3,000. This extra income has strengthened her family’s financial condition and allowed her to provide better education for her children. Today, she runs the flour mill with her husband by her side and walks proudly on the path of self-reliance and dignity.
