PURE India Trust, in collaboration with UWM, organized a Paper Bag Making Activity at the Citi Bank office in Bengaluru to promote environmental sustainability and encourage responsible corporate volunteering. The initiative brought together 40 employee volunteers, who collectively created 70 eco-friendly paper bags, reinforcing the importance of reducing dependence on single-use plastics through simple, sustainable practices.
The activity served as a platform to strengthen environmental awareness, foster teamwork, and inspire employees to contribute towards positive social and environmental change. By engaging corporate volunteers in hands-on sustainability initiatives, the program demonstrated how collaborative CSR efforts can create meaningful community impact while encouraging responsible citizenship.
