PURE India Trust is pleased to share the success of our 9th CSR Fundraising Workshop, where we hosted NGO founders and leaders from 10 states across India, including Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into various funding avenues, including CSR, government funds, FCRA, and crowdfunding. They also gained knowledge on crucial aspects of NGO operations, including compliance, social media strategies, and the technical skills necessary for growth and success in the sector.
At PURE India Trust, we guided participants on how to craft effective elevator pitches, presentations, concept notes, and proposal writing, while emphasizing the importance of volunteer engagement in social development initiatives. We also highlighted how individual donations from HNIs and retail funding can serve as a strong starting point for emerging NGOs.
Additionally, we provided templates for operational processes and proposal writing, along with strategies to identify key contacts among donors and CSR leaders. This workshop was an enriching knowledge exchange, designed to build the capacity of NGOs across India and prepare them for collaboration with CSR companies through PURE India certification.
To date, PURE India Trust has trained over 2,500 NGOs through both online and offline sessions, alongside providing continuous mentoring support to our NGO partners. This initiative reaffirms our commitment to empowering NGOs and fostering growth in the social sector.
