Neha, a married woman from Alote, Madhya Pradesh, lives with her family of four. She always dreamed of starting a beauty parlour, but financial constraints and limited household income kept her aspiration on hold. Earlier, her contribution to family income was around ₹1,000 per month, which was insufficient to manage urban household expenses. Her journey changed after attending a community meeting under the AU Udyogini Saksham Project, implemented by Pure India Trust. After applying through the field executive, she received EDP training, strengthening her business and financial management skills. Neha then successfully started her own beauty parlour. Today, she earns an average monthly revenue of ₹7,000–₹8,000 with a profit of ₹5,000–₹5,500, making her financially independent and confident
