Ms. Sunitha is a resilient and determined entrepreneur who has overcome significant challenges to build an independent livelihood. Living with a disability and without family support, she had no source of income before joining the Women Empowerment Project of PURE India Trust. Despite these circumstances, she remained committed to becoming financially self-reliant.

Recognizing her determination, PURE India Trust provided business development support in the form of a vegetable pushcart, along with mentoring on business management, customer service, and business branding. Equipped with these resources, she successfully started her own vegetable business and now serves customers confidently within her community.

Today, Ms. Sunitha earns an average monthly income of approximately ₹6,400, enabling her to meet her daily needs with dignity and independence. Her journey reflects the transformative impact of entrepreneurship and continuous handholding support, demonstrating how timely interventions can empower women to build sustainable livelihoods and lead self-reliant lives.
