Rajwinder Kaur Food Stall, Bharopal Village
Rajwinder Kaur living in Bharopal village, Attari, Amritsar, Punjab, is a widow and a mother of two children. Her husband passed away five years back, and since then, she has had to bear the financial responsibilities of her children and house.
Rajwinder used to work in the city, 30 km away from the village and had to live alone without her children. Her financial condition was deplorable. Our team selected her application for the My Village My Business program and visited her house under the mobilisation process. We helped her set up the food stall at her home.
Now, she is financially independent and is earning very well.
